Varimode LED Surface Mount Pool Light Conversion Kit
This pool light conversion kit allows you to substitute the following pool light brands to a colour changing LED Surface Mount pool light.

These are the most common lights found in older pools, but the Varimode Adaptor Plate can be easily modified to fit other models.
The pool light conversion kit consists of the following parts:
1 x universal adaptor plate
1 x rubber tubing
6 x cable ties
2 x connectors
4 x 18 mm 8g stainless steel screws
4 x 15 mm 6g stainless steel pan screws

(Please read before commencing installation)
- Remove existing pool light from the pool and cut cable above pool level. Do not allow cable to fall back into the pool.
- Marry up the old pool light fixing positions with the holes in the adaptor plate, mark their positions making sure 'TOP' on the adaptor plate and the top of the old light are together.
- Remove the bracket from the light and fit to the adaptor plate using the four 15 mm screws provided. The light fixing screw hole in the top of the bracket should point towards 'TOP' on the adaptor plate.
- Remove any existing pool light mounting brackets (except for Waterco and Spa Electric brands ). Fit the existing pool light wire through one of the large holes in the adaptor plate, ensuring the end of the wire is kept above water level (choose a hole most suited to the position of the wire outlet on the pool).
- With the 18 mm screws provided (or the old light's screws), fit the adaptor plate onto the pool wall using the old pool light's mounting positions previously marked.
- Slide the rubber tube over the new light cable.
- Remove 25 mm of the outer sleeving of the existing light and the new light cables, then remove 7 mm of insulation from the 4 protruding wires, join the existing and new wires using the crimp connectors supplied.
- Slide the rubber tube over the two connectors, making sure the tube covers the connectors and the outer sleeving of both cables equally. Fit two cable ties on each end of the tubing to seal the tube onto the outer sheathing of the cable.
- Wind the excess cable onto the back of the light.
- Fit the surface mount light onto the bracket to complete the installation.
